What Sleeps Beneath is accepting submissions for original writing. We have two different submission tracks outlined below: Critical Essays and Reviews. Please review the guidelines for each and choose the appropriate track before submitting. In general, we are looking for original scholarly articles, film analysis, book reviews, editorials, and pieces that examine the horrific. We accept a variety of ideas and regularly release themed open calls. Submissions are reviewed individually on a rolling basis. Please note that we are not accepting fiction pieces at this time. Our team will respond to your submission regardless of acceptance in a few weeks. We look forward to reading your piece!
